Hiboy S2 Pro – Is It the Best Commuter Scooter in 2026?
If you're looking for a reliable, powerful electric scooter for your daily commute, the Hiboy S2 Pro is one of the top contenders on the market. With a 500W motor, 25-mile range, and a UL 2272 safety certification, it's built for adults who take their commute seriously.
Let's break down everything you need to know.
Performance That Delivers
The S2 Pro is powered by a 500W brushless hub motor that pushes you to a top speed of 19 mph — fast enough for city streets, smooth enough to feel in control. The 36V / 11.6Ah battery gives you up to 25.6 miles per charge, making it one of the longest-range scooters in its class.
- Top speed: 19 mph
- Range: up to 25.6 miles
- Charging time: 6–8 hours
Ride Comfort on Any Surface
One of the standout features of the S2 Pro is its 10-inch solid tires. Unlike pneumatic tires, solid tires never go flat — a huge advantage for daily commuters. Pair that with a rear dual shock absorber system, and you get a surprisingly smooth ride even on rough pavement or speed bumps.
Safety First
The S2 Pro takes safety seriously. It's UL 2272 certified, meaning it's been rigorously tested for electrical and fire safety. On the road, you get:
- Ultra-bright headlight with 15m visibility
- Disc brake + EABS regenerative anti-lock braking system
The dual braking system gives you short, controlled stops — essential in busy urban environments.
Smart App Control
Connect the S2 Pro to the Hiboy app and unlock features like remote locking, custom acceleration modes, and braking sensitivity settings. It's a small but meaningful upgrade for riders who want full control over their experience.
Portable & Foldable
At 31.9 lbs, the S2 Pro folds down quickly for storage in a car trunk, under a desk, or in a closet. An optional detachable seat is also available if you prefer a seated ride (sold separately).
Who Is the Hiboy S2 Pro For?
The S2 Pro is ideal for:
- Adult commuters covering 5–20 miles per day
- Riders who want a flat-free, low-maintenance scooter
- Anyone who values safety certifications and app connectivity
